Welcome to my website!
I am a researcher and teacher of Psychology, with education and work experience in diverse cultures (Netherlands, Turkey, UK, Canada, and USA). I am currently based in the Netherlands, and employed by the Iowa State University as a post-doctoral research fellow.
As a researher, my work is dedicated to better understanding issues related to gender relations and gender inequality in society. I approach these issues with a combination of pespectives and methods from social, cultural, and evolutionary psychology.
As a teacher, my goal is to stimulate my students' appreciation and enthusiasm for psychological science, theory and practice. I very much enjoy the intellectual aspects of teaching and contributing to my students' academic and professional development.
You can learn more about my research, my teaching, and my other professional activities on this website.
